The answer is in the technique. Traditionally, a design is drawn on paper and cut into pattern pieces.
Glass is then chosen that best represents the design. The patterns are used to cut the glass to an exact shape. Once this is done, the glass pieces are put together to construct a piece that matches the original drawing.
In this class, the student chooses the glass first. It is already cut into various shapes and sizes requiring little to no additional cutting. The pieces are arranged into a design that grows creatively, naturally, perhaps even intuitively. The glass pieces are then put together to construct the final piece.
The complete process allows the student to create something organically without the aid of a preconceived idea or design.

Students need to buy tickets in advance of class. No walk-ins accepted. Classes are limited to 6 students.
